Amy's belly update

Princess Fun

Every princess needs lessons on the proper way to curtsey, and to dance elegantly. So Heidi took lessons from Lady Clare.

Getting her Disney Pass

Heidi turned three on the 22nd of May, and this entitles her to get her own Disney annual pass! Here she is proudly getting her picture taken for the card! It was a special event for her. Grammy and Grandpa bought it for her birthday present. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI!

Movie days

One of Heidi's favorite things to do is to go to the "BIG" movies with grammy and grandpa. We have watched quite a few favorites together. Meet The Robinsons was the first, then Surf's Up, and most recently Ratatouille! We enjoy munching our popcorn and candy and sipping from a super-large cup of soda...mmmmm. We didn't want to miss this photo op in front of some movie props at the theater.

Spoiled in Paradise

Acrobatics

Wish I knew the tribe and the name for this display of high flying acrobatics. We sat entranced as the sun went down over the Pacific Ocean and these young men dangled at least three stories above the ground; hanging by their feet.

To get to this Puerto Vallarta landmark, it's the sea horse on the malecon. Vallarta was relatively isolated until 1969. Then the first paved highway gave it access to the rest of Mexico. The Sea Horse is a downtown landmark.

SeƱor Mister Pepe's

I will be adding a video to this that will add to the nature of these photos!
Our trip to Senor Pepe's took a circuitous route throughout Puerta Vallarta, since we had no idea where this recommended dining was located. After a length of time tracking down leads, and roaming the back streets and alley's, a police car finally stopped us and asked what we were doing. Upon hearing of our dilema they then escorted us (with patrol lights flashing) to the restaurant. But...it doesn't end just with that escapade. It turns out the restaurant is located on the balcony of someone's home. They get out of their pajamas to take our orders, and make the evening a marvelous story! I've included a map in case there are any other brave souls who would like a wonderful dining experience, and the website!!!

Birthday in Paradise

This year with all of Ken and his bud's turning 50!...we decided a blow out bash was necessary. So with eveyone's help in planning we chose Punta Mita- a nice little sleepy town up the coast from Puerta Vallarta.

Our days were filled to overflowing with sunshine, warm breezes, beautiful ocean, good food and great friends!

First day (May 19th) we spent down at the Four Seasons Beach Club with an evening feast on the beach.

Second day (May 20th) we spent combing all of the area for a church meeting house...which we eventually found! Ken had fun speaking in Spanish with the members there!

Rubbing shoulder's and hobnobbing

This was actually a fun event. One of our leading Republican candidates, Mitt Romney was in our area for a luncheon and I got invited to attend. There was an extra seat available so I brought Joe along! he was very dynamic and gracious with everyone he met. He had some great messages about preparing America for the future. He has my support! (http://mittromney.com/HomePage)

Yes! it looks like Joe's hair is done in a "mohawk" style, but I guess it's just the angle of the photo and funny lighting, because it didn't look this way in person!

3 Generations

Hard to believe I'm in the top tier when we show our 3 generation pic's! But here I am with a daughter and a granddaughter. These are some small proofs of our photo shoot. MY grandchild is the most beautiful in the world...so there!
