A day in the life of a daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother!
This was an amzing tour down the sea cliffs of Moloka'i. The mules are surefooted on this more than steep terrain, and are pretty comfortable too. But it was a sacred experience to be in the towns where so many were banashed for leprosy (Hansens disease). There is an excellant book that led us to take this tour, and I highly recommend it. MOLOKA'I by Alan Brennert.
Here in California we have some great commercials from the California Milk Advisory Board, and they all center around the ad "Great milk comes from happy cows, happy cows come from Calif." (be sure to click on the ad-you'll love them) BUT, I have to say after seeing these cows and the view of beautiful ocean THEY have...well let's just say there couldn't be any happier cows than Maui ones!
Right now I am sitting on the couch looking out over the Pailolo Channel across to Molokai'i--my favorite view. I can lay in bed and watch the waves and hear the surf every day. Paradise! Forgot to bring my camera charger and my upload cable, so pictures will have to wait till I'm home and back in my "normal" routine...till then, ALOHA

Okay first off we went to a wonderful luau: OLD LAHAINA LUAU (http://www.oldlahainaluau.com/index_main.html) Definitely worth the admission--We vote it the BEST luau we've gone to, and we've been going to all of them for the last 7 years or so.
